RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

GENERAL POLICY

Due to the nature of vintage, second-hand, and deadstock items, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.

Please review all item details, descriptions, and measurements carefully before purchasing.

ITEM CONDITION & DESCRIPTION

All items sold on www.lamis.co.uk are vintage, second-hand, or deadstock. This means:

  • Signs of wear, ageing, or minor imperfections are expected
  • Items may show natural fading, small marks, or variations
  • Colours may vary slightly due to lighting and screen differences

We make every effort to accurately describe each item and highlight any significant flaws.

Measurements are provided as a guide and may have slight variations. Buyers are responsible for checking measurements before purchase.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Sizing or fit issues
  • Minor imperfections consistent with vintage wear
  • Colour differences due to display settings

ELIGIBLE RETURNS (EXCEPTIONS ONLY)

We only accept returns if an item is:

  • Significantly not as described, or
  • Incorrect item sent

If you believe your item qualifies, you must contact us within 5 days of delivery at info@lamis.co.uk with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the issue
  • A description of the problem

Requests made after this period may not be accepted.

RETURN APPROVAL & CONDITIONS

If your return is approved:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition it was received
  • The item must not be worn, altered, or washed
  • All original packaging (if applicable) must be included

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item does not meet these conditions.

RETURN SHIPPING

  • If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. incorrect or misdescribed item), we will cover reasonable return shipping costs
  • In all other approved cases, the buyer is responsible for return shipping

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit without proof of tracking.

REFUNDS

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

FRAUD & ABUSE PREVENTION

To protect our business from fraudulent claims:

  • We document all items with detailed photos before dispatch
  • We reserve the right to request additional evidence before approving a return
  • We may refuse returns that show signs of use, damage, or tampering after delivery
