By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
SECTION 1: ONLINE STORE TERMS
By using this site, you confirm that:
- You are at least the age of majority in your country of residence
- You will not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
SECTION 2: GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse or cancel orders at our discretion
- Limit quantities purchased per person or order
- You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, or exploit any part of the Service without written permission.
SECTION 3: PRODUCTS & CONDITION
All products sold on www.lamis.co.uk are:
- Vintage
- Second-hand
- Or deadstock (new old stock)
This means:
- Items may show signs of wear, ageing, or storage-related imperfections
- Minor flaws, fading, or variations are expected
We make every effort to describe items accurately and provide clear images.
By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the nature and condition of these goods.
SECTION 4: PRICING & PAYMENTS
- All prices are listed in GBP
- Prices exclude shipping, duties, and applicable taxes
For international orders:
- You are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and local charges
We accept payments via:
- Debit/credit card
- Apple Pay
All payments are processed securely.
SECTION 5: SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Orders are shipped using reliable carriers (e.g. Royal Mail or equivalent).
- Tracking details will be provided once dispatched
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
Shipping Responsibility
Once an order has been dispatched:
- The buyer is responsible for providing accurate shipping details
- We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or incorrect information
If a parcel is returned due to:
- Incorrect address
- Failure to pay duties
- Failure to collect
It may be re-shipped at the buyer’s cost. Refunds will not be issued in such cases.
SECTION 6: RETURNS & REFUNDS
Due to the nature of vintage and second-hand goods, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:
- Change of mind
- Sizing or fit issues
- Minor imperfections consistent with vintage wear
Exceptions (Limited Cases Only)
Returns are only accepted if:
- The item is significantly not as described, or
- The incorrect item was sent
You must contact us within 5 days of delivery with:
- Order number
- Clear photos
- Description of the issue
If approved:
- The item must be returned in original condition
- We reserve the right to inspect before issuing a refund
Return Shipping
- If the error is ours → we cover reasonable return shipping
- Otherwise → buyer covers return shipping
Tracked shipping is strongly recommended.
Refunds
- Issued to the original payment method
- Processed within 5–10 business days after inspection
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
SECTION 7: IN-PERSON SALES
For purchases made in person (including pop-ups, markets, private appointments, or events):
- All items are sold as seen and inspected at the time of purchase
- Customers are responsible for carefully examining items before purchase
- By completing the transaction, the customer confirms satisfaction with the item’s condition
Due to the nature of vintage and second-hand goods:
- All in-person sales are final
- No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be offered
Exceptions apply only where:
- An item is proven to be significantly misrepresented
Any claims must be made within 24 hours of purchase with supporting evidence.
We reserve the right to refuse claims where items were inspected and accepted at the point of sale.
SECTION 8: FRAUD & ABUSE PREVENTION
To protect our business:
- We document items before dispatch
- We may request evidence for any claim
- We reserve the right to refuse returns showing signs of use, damage, or tampering
SECTION 9: LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
SECTION 10: INTERNATIONAL SALES
We sell internationally. Buyers are responsible for:
- Ensuring products comply with local laws
- Paying any applicable import duties or taxes
